NYC Real Estate: The Comeback Kid

January was a very busy month for buyers: newly signed contracts doubled in Manhattan compared to a year ago and rose sharply in Brooklyn. Intense contract activity has been playing out in the suburban counties ringing the city for at least half a year now. We've been saying it for months: activity is back in full swing. Rushing Into Regret

Many people rushed into the real estate market last year in hopes of perfectly timing the dip in home prices. As with any investment, this is a poor strategy and many learned this the hard way. You shouldn't base your decision solely on the current market - it needs to make sense for you and your situation as well.
