Core inflation hit an annual rate of 3.3%

Average Returns 1925 - 2025
Between 1925 - 2025, the total U.S. stock market returned an annualized average of almost 10.5%. After tax, however, that return drops to 7%. US home prices escalated at an average nominal rate of 3.4-4.4% per year between 1925 and 2025. Then again, averages are mostly useless. Most homes' appreciation is tax-free via the step-up basis.
