Housing Market Predictions For Q3 & Q4

What many had hoped would be a rosy spring home-buying season has turned into a thorny challenge for home shoppers already struck by a challenging market.

Home sale activity was stagnant last month as mortgage rates and home prices maintained an upward trajectory. One silver lining is that more resale inventory entered the market.

US Indexes Finished the Week Higher By More Than 1%

US stocks ended Friday slightly lower but finished the week higher by more than 1% following a May jobs report that came in much hotter than expected.

Data showed 272,000 jobs were added to the economy last month, well ahead of economist estimates of about 180,000.

NY Gov. Hochul Floats Last-Minute Delay To NYC Congestion Pricing

The tolls, set to be levied on June 30, would include a $15 base fare for drivers traveling below 60th Street. Hochul plans to delay the long-awaited congestion tolls on drivers in part of Manhattan and possibly replace the lost revenue with a tax on New York City businesses. The state could also choose to tap into its existing cash reserves to bridge the gap as an alternative.
