Building activity declined in July, a strong relation to continued supply constraints. Builders are seeing weekly price spikes and falls on building materials. A 7% decrease was noted from June to July on new construction homes. Residential construction has eased back but still holds above pre-pandemic levels. Next month is looking to remain upbeat.
