Metals Dazzle

Precious metals prices surged again, extending rallies that have lifted gold and silver well above their previous record levels. Gold was trading around $5,000 per ounce on Friday afternoon, while silver surpassed $100 per ounce for the first time, just a couple of weeks after it first breached the $80 threshold.

New Fed Chief

Manhattan resident Kevin Warsh and Stanford/Harvard/MIT grad, husband of Erin Lauder (of THE Lauders) - were announced last week to replace Chairman Powell in May when his term ends. Powell achieved a 'soft landing' - although a slow one - through the post-covid global inflation surge, bringing down inflation to around 3% where it remains sticky still today. (Read More)

Is That All You Got?

Last week's snowstorm was record breaking. Central Park saw 11.4 inches of snow in Sunday's storm, the most ever recorded on Jan. 25.

But did that stop us?

Absolutely not.

We still had a full week filled with open houses, private showings, staging, photographing, listing presentations, shoveling, and opening frozen lock boxes.
