Q1 Queens Market Report

The Queens residential real estate market real estate

market is weathering a real estate

cycle impacted by low inventory

and a rapid surge in interest rates.

As a result, the average sale closed

at $696,397, a 5.3% decrease

from last year's Q1 average.

The total sales volume for the

borough hit $2.36 billion.

Tesla Drop Weighs On Stocks, US Yields Retreat After Data

A gauge of global stocks was on track for its biggest daily percentage drop in two weeks after a sharp decline in Tesla shares while softening U.S. economic data and growing worries about the debt ceiling sent Treasury yields lower.

On Wall Street, shares of Tesla (TSLA.O) sank 7.20%. (Full Report)

A Good Time To Make A Deal in NYC

New York City’s real estate market reacted strongly to the economic uncertainty of 2023’s first quarter. Surprisingly, it then began to strengthen in February, and improved even more in March. That said, the deals which got made correlated strongly to price reductions or highly realistic listing prices. (Full Story)
