New Laws for New York

There are several bills posed to The New York State Legislature that are set to be voted on in the next two weeks. Some hot ticket items include a

Pied a Terre Tax, Prohibition of Eviction Without Good Cause, mandatory EV stations for new residential developments, and changes to the condo and co-op tax code. See these bills and more here. (Full Story)

NYC Schools to Increase Safety Officers

Our hearts go out to those affected by the recent act of domestic terrorism in Texas. In response to this devastating event, Mayor Adams is considering increasing the number of school safety officers assigned to check for weapons. So far this year officials have confiscated over 5,500 weapons from students. "Public safety can't be about luck ... It's going to take so much more."
